Take a look folks, I just opened my personal YouTube channel and one of the many musical offerings on tap is this stellar Stoner Kings gig from Helsinki’s legendary Tavastia club in March of 2006, when we released our sophomore album, Fuck the World:

I also just added a plethora of songs from my various bands over the years to my Music page here at StarBuck.fi, so be sure to check out all the cool tuneage to be heard!

As some of you might know already, my hard rock band Overnight Sensation will be releasing a debut album this autumn, entitled Life’s a Bitch.  You can hear select raw mixes of select tracks at our MySpace or Reverbnation pages.

Yesterday, we performed the album screening for Life’s a Bitch at Johtoääni Studios in Helsinki.  This was our opportunity to make last-minute notes about small mixing details that we wanted altered before the album goes to the mastering stage.  Nikke Niemispelto of Drumforest Studios in Viitasaari, Finland has done an INCREDIBLE job mixing and producing our album, and it is going to absolutely blow away the listener once it sees the release date.

Johtoääni Studio’s boss Risto Eskolin makes a few production-related recommendations for what he hears

As it stands, we have 11 all killer/no filler tracks set for Life’s a Bitch, and clocking in at under 40 minutes, the album is sure to not wear out its welcome.

Band bassist Jouni Weckman listens to the song playing in the background as I check the lyrics

Stay tuned for release details this fall!

I will be playing a couple of summer festival gigs with my southern blues rock band Crossfyre this month.

First up, tonight we play the Ruukki Picnic event in Ruotsinpyhtää, Finland at 19:30.

Next week we will be in Jämsä, Finland on Thursday, July 12 at the Harley-Davidson Club of Finland‘s summer bash.

Come out and see & hear us rock!

The final part of my southern blues rock band Crossfyre’s documentary film aboard the Rock Legends Cruise 2011 was just released today, and here is the link for you all to check out:

Here is the first look at the cover artwork (drawn by Yours Truly) for my hard rock band Overnight Sensation‘s upcoming debut album, Life’s a Bitch.  I decided to draw the hound of Hades, Cerberus, and a hot bitch riding on him, to expound the message and irony of the album title.  As you might know from Greek mythology, Cerberus was the guard dog at the river Styx, who guarded the entryway to the underworld, or Hades.  The hot chick riding the dog espouses the idea that in our western culture, sex sells everything, and from the obvious disdainful expression on her face, you can ascertain that the girl doesn’t give a damn about those, who she chides with her whip.

I also dropped by the SONY Music headquarters in Helsinki yesterday and was given a platinum award for the cover art I designed and drew up (painted by Toxic Angel) for HevisaurusRäyh! album last year.  In Finland, the platinum level is 20 000 sold units.  I am currently designing and drawing up the next Hevisaurus album cover, and the record should be released this autumn through SONY Music.

Part three of the video documentary our Crossfyre gigs aboard the Rock Legends Cruise 2011 was just released today.  Check it out here:
